This 2005 play contrasts the lives of teenagers in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia and on the Falls Road in Belfast. Living with Grays Ferry’s racial tensions or the sectarian violence of Belfast, these students are torn between the secure insularity of the past and the fast-changing present. The choice to help shape the future will mean walking away from the close-minded attitudes and traditions that they know.
